When

feelings

take

 over

reality

People with borderline personality disorder have troubles with keeping the control of their moods and temper. There are no classes in high school or college that teach you how to deal with mental illness. If you’re lucky, they may explain you terms such as ‘depression’ and ‘anxiety’, but that's about it.

I want to show you how they feel and what they are going through. What I've learnt from my besties with borderline, is that ‘anger’, ‘calmness’ and ‘euphoria’ are the three main sentiments that take over their reality. Their mood swings can be intense as well as rapid. For this reason, I created three creative videos that express those three phases of emotions. ‘Raging Red’ stands for the anger that rages through their body. ‘Frightening Calm’ describes the calmness as well as the emptiness they are facing. Finally, ‘Holographic Euphoria’ represents their manic euphoria.
